Assam Rifles Conducts Community Welfare Program in Mizoram to Support Local

NGOSELING, MIZORAM | March 16, 2026 — In a steadfast display of its commitment to social responsibility, the Assam Rifles organized a comprehensive community welfare initiative at Thingsulthlia Village on March 15, 2026. During the event, the “Sentinels of the North East” distributed a wide array of essential items to the local NGO ‘Nuna Lal Hnam’ to address critical gaps in health, hygiene, and education within the region.

The relief package included vital medical supplies, comprehensive sanitary kits, and a variety of stationery items designed to empower the youth and support the well-being of the local community.The program highlights the deep-rooted bond between the security forces and the people of Mizoram, focusing on sustainable support for grassroots organizations.

By providing these resources to the NGO, the Assam Rifles personnel aimed to foster a healthier and more equipped environment for the villagers of Thingsulthlia and the surrounding Seling area.
