Assam Rifles and Indian Coast Guard Launch Phase II of Joint Bike Rally from Shillong to Pangsau Pass

SHILLONG, February 02, 2026: In a powerful display of inter-service camaraderie and national unity, a joint bike rally organized by the Assam Rifles and the Indian Coast Guard was officially flagged off for its second phase from the Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles (HQ DGAR) at Laitkor, Shillong.

This collaborative expedition, which successfully concluded its first phase along the route from Haldia to Shillong, entered its next leg after being ceremoniously flagged off by Brigadier Sandip Chatterjee, SM.

The rally is now set to traverse the challenging terrain from Shillong to the historic Pangsau Pass in South Arunachal Pradesh.

Beyond the spirit of adventure, this joint initiative serves as a symbol of the shared commitment between the two forces toward national service and integration, aiming to foster a deep sense of unity and purpose across the Northeast region.
