ASHA School Lucknow Conducts Innovative Soap-Making Skill Training in Barabanki

BARABANKI, April 6, 2026 — Under the empowering theme “Empowering Skills, Enabling Futures,” the Block Education Department of Nindura, Barabanki, successfully collaborated with ASHA School Lucknow to host a specialized Skill Development Training Program.

In a landmark initiative for the region, two students from ASHA School, supported by their vocational instructors, took the lead as trainers to provide hands-on instruction in the art of soap making.

This unique peer-to-peer learning session involved 10 teachers and 10 students from the Nindura block, marking a significant milestone where young learners with special abilities stepped forward to upskill their peers, demonstrating immense confidence and vocational capability.

This collaborative effort is designed to have a far-reaching impact, ultimately benefiting approximately 9,000 registered students and 901 teachers across the development block by fostering vocational awareness and self-reliance.

By promoting inclusive education and practical life skills, the program—supported by the Indian Army’s Surya Command—aims to prepare the youth for future economic challenges while ensuring they can contribute meaningfully to society.

ASHA School Lucknow continues to be at the forefront of these initiatives, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world empowerment through inclusive and collaborative growth.
