Bandipora 07 September:- The village of Kanyari in Shahgund has been completely inundated due to overflow from Wular Lake, cutting off residents who are currently relying on boats for essential movement.
In order to extend support to the helpless locals stranded in waist deep water , Shahgund Army Camp launched immediate relief measures and distributed rations by boat to poor families despite challenging conditions.
The assistance was well received by the villagers and sarpanches, and the locals were assured that any emergency assistance or other requirements will be provided by the Army Camp at the earliest, thereby reinforcing goodwill and strengthening Army–Awaam connect during the crisis.
