Army Public School Damana Organizes a Three-Day Scouts and Guides Camp in School Campus

Jammu 04 November :- Army Public School Damana organized a Three-Day Scouts and Guides Camp on 01, 03 and 04 November 2025 in the school premises. The camp commenced with the Scout and Guide prayer and promise, marking the beginning of three days filled with learning, discipline, and teamwork.

Resource persons from the Headquarters of Bharat Scouts and Guides, R. P. Kotwal -STC (S), Manjeet Kaur -JTSTC (G) and K. L. Sharma AC (Comm.) personally visited the school and conducted sessions covering the syllabus of Pravesh and Dwitiya Sopan.

They guided the participants through various activities such as Basic Knots, Life Skills, Songs, Yells, Discipline, and Sign Language, providing practical demonstrations and motivating the students to live by the true spirit of Scouting and Guiding

The resource persons also visited the Balvatika Wing of the school and interacted warmly with the new Bunny Section, inspiring the young ones to become a part of the Scouting and Guiding movement in the future. They appreciated the enthusiasm of the participants and extended their heartfelt thanks to the Principal, Vice Principal, and School Management for their continuous support in organizing the camp and for allowing teachers and students to join the worldwide organization -the Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Pushpinder Kaur, Principal of the school urged the students to uphold the principles of scouting and guiding, always be ready to help others and demonstrate kindness and empathy.

She further added that the camp serves as an opportunity to challenge oneself and discover hidden talents.The camp concluded with a closing ceremony and the National Anthem, leaving behind memories of teamwork, discipline, and joyful learning.

The experience not only enhanced the Scouts’ and Guides’ practical knowledge but also strengthened their values of responsibility, cooperation, and service to humanity.
