Army holds ‘Millat-e-Aalim’ outreach with clerics in Baramulla

Baramulla February 17, 2026:- The Baramulla unit of the Indian Army on Monday organised a community outreach programme titled “Millat-e-Aalim”, bringing together Imams and prominent religious leaders from across the town.
Officials said the initiative was aimed at fostering dialogue and strengthening coordination between the Army and religious leaders to collectively address social issues and reinforce communal harmony.
The interaction provided a platform for exchange of views on eradicating social evils and promoting peace and development in the region.
Army representatives thanked the participating clerics and described them as key agents of positive change in society. They said that continued engagement and cooperation would help further consolidate peace and prosperity in Baramulla.
The programme concluded with a joint resolve to carry forward the spirit of Tarjuman-e-Aman Baramulla and work towards creating a peaceful and progressive environment for residents.
Religious leaders from various sects appreciated the Army’s sustained outreach and community welfare initiatives.
