Army Commander Reviews Security Readiness in Eastern Ladakh: New Year Greetings to Troops
LEH, December 31: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of Indian Army troops deployed in the strategic Tagyarmale Sector of Eastern Ladakh today.
During his visit to the high-altitude forward posts, the Army Commander interacted with the “valiant troops” who continue to maintain a high state of alertness despite the extreme winter conditions and challenging topography of the region.
The Northern Command, in an official statement on X (formerly Twitter), shared that Lt Gen Sharma lauded the personnel for their “exemplary professionalism, steadfast resolve, and selfless devotion to national security.” While commending their soul-stirring excellence in safeguarding the country’s borders, he urged all ranks to continue nurturing the high standards of military discipline and readiness.
