Army Band Concert in Lucknow Celebrates 150 Years of Vande Mataram at Janeshwar Mishra Park

LUCKNOW, JANUARY 22, 2026: In a resonant tribute to India’s national song, the Indian Army organized a grand musical performance titled “Echoes of Patriotism, Notes of Nationhood” at Janeshwar Mishra Park today.

The event was held as part of the nationwide celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, honoring its historic role as a beacon of inspiration during the freedom struggle.

The evening successfully blended martial tradition with patriotic fervor, drawing a massive crowd of over 2,000 citizens who gathered to witness the rhythmic celebration of India’s enduring spirit.The concert featured a diverse array of stirring performances, showcasing the musical versatility of the armed forces.

The Pipe Band of the AMC Centre & College and the Military Band of the SIKH Light Infantry Regimental Centre delivered powerful traditional compositions, while the Jazz Band of the 1 ASSAM Regiment added a vibrant, contemporary energy to the festivities. Together, these harmonious displays transformed the park into a symbol of national unity and sacrifice.
