Jammu 01 Sept :- Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a visit to the flood-affected areas of Jammu on Wednesday to take stock of the situation.
He was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and other senior officials. During his tour, the Home Minister made a specific visit to inspect the Tawi Bridge, which has suffered significant damage and remains a critical point of concern due to the severe flooding.
This high-level visit comes at a time when continuous heavy rainfall has caused widespread waterlogging and severely disrupted normal life across several parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
