AMC Officers Training College Conducts Ceremonial Parade as 120 NCOs Complete Specialized Course

LUCKNOW, March 19, 2026 — Marking the successful conclusion of their professional training, 120 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Army Medical Corps (AMC) participated in a grand ceremonial parade at the Officers Training College (OTC), AMC Centre & College.

The parade, which showcased a high degree of discipline and military bearing, was reviewed by Major General VK Patra, Commandant of the Officers Training College.

Addressing the graduating NCOs, the Major General emphasized the critical importance of their role in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), urging them to execute their duties with a blend of professional commitment, compassion, and humility.

The ceremony also served as a platform to recognize individual excellence among the trainees. Havildar (Nursing Assistant) Leela Ram Sahu, representing Military Hospital Jabalpur, was honored as the “Best All-Round NCO” for his outstanding performance throughout the course.

This training graduation reinforces the AMC’s mission to provide highly skilled and dedicated medical support staff to the Indian Army, ensuring the health and readiness of personnel across varied operational environments.
