Pune 13th August :- Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Amar Preet Singh, visited to the Artificial Limb Centre (ALC) in Pune, interacted with Corporal Varun Kumar , an air warrior who was injured while taking part in “Operation Sindoor”. The CAS spent time socializing with the other patients receiving treatment and rehabilitation at the center and marvelled at their strength.
He was briefed on the centre’s crucial role in giving mobility and confidence back to injured soldiers when he visited. Praising the commitment of the medical staff, Air Chief Marshal Singh lauded the Commandant, doctors, and ALC staff for their unflinching dedication to delivering outstanding care. “Your service is a beacon of hope for our gallant personnel recovering from injuries,” he said. The visit emphasized the Indian Air Force’s continued commitment to its injured warfighters and the state-of-the-art medical facilities in place to assist their recovery.
