Agnibaaz Division Archers Shine at Senior National Indoor Archery Championship 2026; Win Multiple Medals

ALIBAUG, February 02, 2026: Soldiers of the Agnibaaz Division, operating under the Indian Army’s Southern Command, delivered a powerhouse performance at the Senior National Indoor Archery Championship 2026 held in Alibaug, further cementing the Army’s reputation for sporting dominance.

Displaying exceptional precision and focus, Naib Subedar Arjun emerged as a standout performer, clinching two Gold medals in the Compound Single Spot category for both Individual and Team events. Joining the podium was Agniveer Rajesh Bishnoi, who showcased remarkable talent by securing two Silver medals in the Compound Mixed Spot individual and team categories.

These victories are a direct result of the Indian Army’s strategic focus on nurturing elite athletic talent through world-class training facilities and systematic coaching.
