ADG Armed Anand Jain Reviews IRP 2nd Battalion in Rajouri and Inaugurates New Infrastructure

RAJOURI, February 21, 2026: Anand Jain, ADG Armed J&K, conducted a comprehensive operational review of the IRP 2nd Battalion today, emphasizing the force’s commitment to efficiency and personnel morale.

Accompanied by Vinod Kumar, DIG IRP Jammu, and Dalip Kumar, SSP and SO to ADG Armed, the visit commenced with a formal Guard of Honour. Jain performed a detailed inspection of the battalion’s logistical framework, including the Motor Transport, Equipment, and Ration stores, as well as the administrative offices and canteen facilities to assess overall readiness and living conditions.

During his interaction with the troops, he stressed the necessity of professional conduct and issued a stern warning against drug abuse to protect the integrity of the force.

Highlighting infrastructure upgrades, Jain inaugurated a new CCTV surveillance system, a refurbished footpath, and a renovated Mess and Combined Dining Hall.

The event was attended by senior officers including Gaurav Sikarwar, SSP Rajouri, and Nasir Khan, Commandant of the IRP 2nd Battalion.
