Absconder on the run for 33 years arrested

Jammu,16 September :- In a remarkable achievement, Police Station Pacca Danga has arrested Prem Paul, son of Ram Saran, resident of Rakh Gagwala, Samba, an absconder who had been on the run for over 33 years.

The accused was wanted in FIR No. 491/1991 under Sections 452, 453, and 147 RPC and had been declared a proclaimed offender after a non-bailable warrant was issued by the Forest Court on February 1, 1992.

Despite his decades-long attempt to evade justice, the sustained efforts of Pacca Danga Police led to his arrest, ensuring that the long arm of the law ultimately prevailed. The accused has been taken into custody after completing all legal formalities, and further proceedings under the law have been initiated.
