Aid provided after pleas from the people of Ora village – District Chairman Priti Khajuria

Udhampur 13 November :-A local woman from Ora village contacted Priti Khajuria and requested assistance for 50 flood-affected families, having learned through news reports that Inner Wheel was also contributing to the relief efforts of families affected by the recent floods. Priti Khajuria provided relief materials to the 50 families.

These included essential items such as tents, blankets, rice, flour, and pulses.On this occasion, Priti Khajuria, District Chairman of Inner Wheel District 307, said, “Inner Wheel has always been committed to social service. Just as the inner wheel strengthens the outer wheel, Inner Wheel is also making a significant contribution to society through social work. This is our small effort in this time of crisis to provide some support to the affected families, as only those in need can call for help.

” Local residents present on the scene shared their experiences, describing how they are living in this cold and the difficulties they will face as the cold intensifies.

Priti Khajuria, District Chairperson of Inner Wheel District 307, said that she has been personally visiting rain-affected areas to distribute relief supplies to needy families and listening to their grievances Inner Wheel has played an active role in social welfare and service activities in the district and is committed to continuing such efforts in the future.

An international women’s organization working to promote social service, friendship and good citizenship, Inner Wheel has been contributing to various social programs around the world for over 102 years.
