Police Arrests Drug Peddler in Khrew; Contraband Substance Recovered

Awantipora 13 November :-During naka checking at Kharchek Sharshalli road, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Khrew, Inspector Naieem Rashid, noticed a person moving in suspicious circumstances. The individual was intercepted and identified as Bilal Ahmad Lone S/O Mohd Maqbool Lone R/O Sharshalli.

During his personal search, 1.183 kg of Bang Choora was recovered from his possession.

Accordingly a Case FIR No. 90/2025 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Khrew, and investigation has been set into motion.

Awantipora Police continues its drive against drug peddlers to eradicate the menace of drugs from society. The General public is urged to cooperate with police in sharing information related to drug abuse and trafficking.
