Udhampur farmers flagged off to Himachal Pradesh for exposure visit

UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 06: Chief Agriculture Officer Udhampur Harbans Singh today flagged off a group of 13 farmers of the District on an exposure visit to Palampur Agriculture University -Himachal Pradesh under the HADP Project “Promotion of Commercial Floriculture.

The visit aims to acquaint the farmers with latest innovations and technological interventions introduced in the field of Agriculture and allied activities. The farmers would learn through demonstration of farm experiments and trials in Floriculture, Cereal and Vegetable cultivation.

They will also interact with University Scientists, extension staff to have exposure to new crop cultivation techniques.
