11th Medical Shop Sealed for Violation of Drugs & Cosmetics Act at Gauri Kund, Chenani by Udhampur Police

Udhampur 06 November :- Continuing its sustained action against the illegal sale of controlled substances, Police team of Police Station Chenani and Police Post Sudhmahadev, while investigating the recovery of 70 capsules of Pregabalin made on 05.11.2025, conducted a follow-up (backward link) action on 06.11.2025.

During the inspection, Radha Krishna Medical Hall at Gauri Kund being run by Anil Puri S/o Jagdish Chand R/o Bupp, Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur was sealed by the Drug Control Officer Udhampur for violation of the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

During the course of inspection, 30 additional capsules of Pregabalin were also recovered from the said medical establishment.

District Police Udhampur has issued a stern warning to all medical establishments to strictly adhere to the regulations concerning the sale of controlled drugs. Strict legal action will be taken against those found violating these norms.
