Two drug peddlers arrested with 10.500 kg bhukki like substance
Kathua, 01 Nov:- Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP kathua Mohita Sharma IPS has arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh (PP Jakhole) and recovered approximately 10.500 Kilograms Bhukki like substance from their possession.
On 31/10/2025 a Police team of Police Post Jakhole led by IC PP Jakhole under the close supervision of SP Ops Kathua Mukund Tibrewal IPS & SDPO Border Dheeraj Katoch JKPS, SHO P/S Rajbagh Insp. Ajay Singh Chib while performing naka duty near Jakhole apprehended two persons who were coming from Dinga Amb side towards Rajbagh under suspicious circumstances. During frisking, approximately 10.500 kilograms Bhukki like substance recovered from their possession.
The drug peddlers identified as Rasheed S/O Feroz Din R/O Bakhta,Kathua , Koushail Ahmed s/o Farooq Ali r/o Chanpura Kathua have been arrested and the contraband item has also been seized.
A case FIR No 205/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Rajbagh and investigation started.
