Drug Peddler arrested with Heroin by Udhampur Police at Tikri

Udhampur, October 31:Police team of PP Tikri, during traffic checking at Tikri, a car bearing registration number JK14C-3433, coming from Jammu towards Udhampur, was stopped for routine checking. The driver identified himself as Varun Sharma @ Pichi, S/o Raj Kumar, R/o Ward No. 06, Karan Nagar, Railway Road, Udhampur.

During his personal search, police team recovered a transparent polypack containing 8.85 grams of Heroin from the front right pocket of his trousers. Upon questioning, the individual failed to give any satisfactory reply regarding the possession of the contraband.

In this connection, Case FIR No. 180/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal, and investigation into the case has been taken up.
