Kathua Police Organized Parade & Pledge taking Ceremony

Kathua, 31 October :- With a view to foster and reinforce the dedication to preserve and strengthen unity, integrity and security of the nation “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) is observed every year on 31st of October to commemorate the Birth anniversary of “Iron Man of India (Sardar Vallabbhai Patel).

In this regard today a Parade was organised at DPL Kathua which was led by Parade Commander DySP Prob. Taranjeet Singh assisted by second Parade Commander PSI Murtaza Rehman Thereafter an “Integrity Pledge taking Ceremony” was also organised at DPL Kathua in which Mohita Sharma -IPS, SSP Kathua administered oath to the Officers/officials at DPL Kathua whereas SP Ops. Kathua Mukund Tibrewal IPS, Addl.SP Kathua Rahul Charak JKPS, DySP DAR Kathua Ritesh Sambyal, DySP Hqrs Kathua Ravinder Singh alongwith other officers/officials also present on ocassion.

Thereafter, SSP Kathua paid rich tributes to India’s first Home Minister as this occasion provides the opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of the nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of the country.
