Jammu 31 October :- The IRP 9th Battalion celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Divas on October 31, 2025, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.The celebration aimed to promote national unity, integration, and patriotism among officers and jawans of the battalion.
Rashtriya Ekta Divas is observed every year on October 31 to honor Sardar Patel’s pivotal contribution in uniting 562 princely states, laying the foundation of a unified India. The 2025 celebrations were especially grand, with nationwide events including parades featuring Central Armed Police Forces and state police contingents, cultural programs showcasing India’s diverse heritage, and events across the country.
IRP 9th Battalion’s participation was part of the larger observance by Jammu and Kashmir Police and other forces, engaging in unity oaths. These events serve as reminders of Sardar Patel’s legacy and inspire continued collective efforts towards national.
