Anantnag Police Commemorates 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Anantnag, October 28, 2025 In connection with the commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India, Anantnag Police organized a special seminar on the “Achievements and Legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel” at Government Degree College (GDC) Anantnag.

The event was aimed at highlighting the life, vision, and contributions of Sardar Patel, whose pivotal role in uniting the nation after Independence continues to inspire generations. Students, faculty members, and police officials participated in the programme with great enthusiasm.

During the seminar, speakers threw light on the monumental efforts of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in integrating more than 560 princely states into the Indian Union and in laying the foundations of a strong and unified India.

The participants paid rich tributes to his enduring legacy and discussed the relevance of his ideals in the contemporary era.The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks to the participants and organizers, reaffirming that the teachings and vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will continue to guide future generations in serving the nation with dedication and unity.
