Jammu, October 25 :- Continuing its special drive against illegal mining, Jammu Police seized three vehicles involved in the transportation of illegally mined material in the jurisdictions of Police Station Domana, Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, and Police Post Gajansoo of Rural Zone Jammu.
Details of the seized vehicles are as under:
One tractor-trolley bearing registration number JK02CH-0197 was seized by Police Station Domana.
One tractor-trolley bearing registration number JK02DM-1353 was seized by Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.
One dumper bearing registration number JK02CE-8891 was seized by Police Post Gajansoo.
These vehicles were found engaged in illegal mining activities, thereby violating the provisions of the mining laws.
The concerned District Mineral Officer (DMO), Jammu, has been informed to initiate necessary legal action under the relevant rules and regulations.
