Kathua, 21st October :- “National Police Commemoration Day” was observed by J&K Police Kathua in District Police Line Kathua in which a “Police Ceremonial Parade” was Commanded by Prob. DySP Nitish Sharma -JKPS along with PSI Murtaza Rehman (Second Parade Commander) was held in the memory of Police Martyrs who had made supreme sacrifice of their lives in the line of duty.
During the occasion, SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma -IPS read out the names of all the Police Martyrs who attained martyrdom for the motherland across the country and remembered them for their sacrifice while upholding the sovereignty and integrity of the Nation.
Thereafter, SSP Kathua was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma, Addl. SP Kathua Rahul Charak-JKPS,DySP DAR Kathua Ritesh Samyal, DySP Hqrs Kathua ,Ravinder Singh , SDPO Border Dheeraj Katoch, DySP PC Kathua Ashwani Sharma along with other Gazetted officers of Civil Administration/Police/ security forces, Retired Police Personnel, families of Police Martyrs and prominent citizens of kathua paid floral tribute to Police Martyrs at Martyr’s Memorial DPL Kathua.
Later, an interaction was held by SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS with the NoK’s of Martyrs and assured them of every possible help from #Kathua Police. The family members of Police Martyrs also visited the Police Martyrs Gallery at DPL Kathua. The gift items were also distributed among the families of Police Martyrs on National Police Commemoration Day.
The function concluded with refreshment for all the guests.
