Drug Peddler detained , Psychotropic Tablets Recovered by Udhampur Police

Udhampur 23 September :- Police team of PP Tikri while performing a routine naka checking at Tikri point intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK14L-2453. On being questioned, the driver disclosed his identity as Veer Singh @Veeru S/o Chain Singh R/o Samole, Udhampur.

During his personal search, 108 tablets of Buprenorphine were recovered from his possession, for which he could not provide any valid justification. The said person was immediately taken into custody on the spot.The Assistant Drug Controller, Udhampur, has been informed about the recovery for further necessary action.
