Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta Reviews Shatrujeet Brigade Readiness and Inaugurates Advanced Shooting Range
LUCKNOW, August 10, 2026 – Central Command General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta visited the elite Shatrujeet Brigade to review its operational readiness, training initiatives, and integration of niche technologies.
During the visit, the Army Commander received comprehensive briefings on updated training modules designed to sharpen combat skills and boost battlefield effectiveness through technology-enabled systems.To strengthen realistic combat preparation, Sengupta inaugurated a state-of-the-art Modular Containerised Indoor Shooting Range.
The facility aims to enhance reflex shooting, marksmanship, and weapon handling skills under realistic and technology-driven training conditions. Commending the paratroopers for their high morale and professionalism, Sengupta urged all ranks to continuously innovate, adapt, and remain prepared to dominate evolving battlespaces.
