PUNE July 28– The year-long 44th Naval Technical Staff Course for officers of the Naval Armament Inspection Cadre commenced at the Military Institute of Technology in Pune.
During the inauguration, Commandant Major General Naveen Kumar Thapliyal interacted with the participating officers and urged them to pursue technical excellence while keeping pace with emerging military technologies.This initial professional program is designed to prepare officers for critical technical appointments across inspection, quality assurance, and lifecycle management of naval armament systems.
Covering weapon systems, advanced armament technologies, and contemporary defense engineering, the course equips participants with the specialist skills essential for the Naval Armament Inspection Cadre.
