GUWAHATI, July 26 — A contingent of 70 Naval NCC cadets from the 48 and 49 Assam Naval Units NCC departed from Kamakhya Railway Station for the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam.
Organized as a maiden initiative by the North East Region Directorate, the group is accompanied by two Ship Modelling Instructors and two Permanent Instructor Staff.The three-day visit, scheduled from July 27 to 29, aims to provide cadets from the North Eastern Region with first-hand exposure to the Indian Navy’s operations.
During the tour, the cadets will visit naval ships, submarines, the Naval Air Station, and the Naval Dockyard to deepen their understanding of naval infrastructure and operational capabilities.
