NEW DELHI, July 25 — The President of India, acting on the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has accepted the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect under clause (2) of Article 75 of the Constitution of India.
Official communique from Rashtrapati Bhavan confirmed that Cabinet Minister Pralhad Joshi has been assigned additional charge of the Ministry of Education alongside his existing portfolio.
The constitutional transition comes into immediate effect to oversee ongoing administrative functions in the education sector.
