TUPUL, July 24 — Assam Rifles under the Spear Corps provided life-saving emergency medical assistance to a snakebite victim in Tupul, Manipur, ensuring swift treatment and stabilization. In a parallel initiative, the force collaborated with the Community Health Centre Tening to organize a joint Medical Awareness and Assistance Programme at Peren, Nagaland.
The comprehensive health camp focused on educating local residents about essential sanitation practices, personal hygiene, and preventative measures against seasonal illnesses common to the region. Medical personnel provided free health checkups and distributed necessary medicines to community members attending the outreach event.
