NIDDER, July 24 — The Snow Leopard Brigade of the Indian Army organized a comprehensive self-defence training capsule for local students at Nidder today.
The educational initiative aimed to equip young residents with essential personal safety skills, enhancing their situational awareness and boosting their confidence to respond effectively in challenging situations.
The training session featured practical physical demonstrations alongside hands-on practice, focusing on real-world techniques for self-protection.
Beyond teaching defensive tactics, the program was designed to foster self-discipline, mental alertness, and personal preparedness among the youth, offering them valuable life skills for their day-to-day safety.In addition to empowering the young participants, the initiative further strengthened the long-standing relationship between the Indian Army and the local community.
Army personnel reiterated their commitment to supporting regional youth development and safety through continuous engagement and skill-building activities.
