IMPHAL July 26: Assam Rifles organised a National Flag Day awareness programme to promote patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for the national flag among the local community. The event was attended by 22 students and two teachers from a local educational institution.
During the session, participants were sensitised to the significance of the Indian national flag, the provisions of the Flag Code of India, and the importance of upholding the dignity of the tricolour. Interactive discussions were also conducted to encourage the values of unity, discipline, and responsible citizenship among the youth.
