Officials conducted comprehensive checks across local pharmacies to ensure strict adherence to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, scrutinizing Computerized Billing Systems (CBS), CCTV operations, stock registers, and scheduled drug transaction records.
During the inspections, regulatory authorities detected multiple severe violations, most notably the absence of qualified pharmacists on-site.
