Kargil July 22:- Following a cloudburst and flash floods in Kirkitchu village of Kargil district in Ladakh, the Indian Army carried out a swift humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operation in coordination with the Civil Administration.Army personnel were quickly deployed to the affected area, where they cleared debris, provided medical aid to those in need, and extended all possible support to the local population.
To restore connectivity, the troops constructed a temporary footbridge, allowing residents to move safely and ensuring the delivery of relief and essential services.The prompt response of the Army and Civil Administration helped mitigate the impact of the disaster and provided timely assistance to the affected community.
Locals appreciated the dedication and humanitarian spirit displayed by the troops in the difficult situation.The Indian Army reiterated its commitment to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people in times of crisis, reaffirming its motto of Service Before Self.
