Accompanied by a delegation of senior security officials, the director general inspected the vital Baltal Base Camp and the holy cave shrine to audit operational readiness, multi-agency communication channels, and emergency response contingency plans designed to protect thousands of advancing pilgrims.
During the operational deployment audit, the security chief led a high-level coordination meeting bringing together top commanders from the Central Armed Police Forces, the Indian Army, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, and various civil administration stakeholders. The tactical review centered on optimizing real-time intelligence sharing, reinforcing fire safety protocols, streamlining logistics, and verifying the immediate mobilization capabilities of medical disaster response teams stationed along the challenging high-altitude terrain.
As part of the field evaluation, the director general toured the central hubs of the security apparatus, including a thorough inspection of the newly established operational camp, the Joint Police Control Room, and various security facilities managing the Baltal axis.
