Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviews progress of conservation projects at Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex
JAMMU, June 8, 2026 :- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex today to review the ongoing conservation and development projects at the historic site.
During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor inspected the restoration work initiated for the damaged wall and slab of the historic Gadadhar Ji Temple adjacent to the complex, directing officials to expedite the process while maintaining high-quality standards.
The inspection was attended by Jammu East MLA Yudhvir Sethi, Chief Secretary Atal Dullo, Principal Secretary Culture Brij Mohan Sharma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, IGP Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti, Jammu Municipal Corporation Commissioner Devansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Rakesh Minhas, SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, and Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society Executive Director Deepika Sharma.During the briefing, the Jammu Municipal Corporation Commissioner updated the Lieutenant Governor on the construction progress of the ramp-based multi-level car parking facility at the site.
The Lieutenant Governor also visited the newly opened library-cum-cafeteria, where the Executive Director of the Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society provided updates on the remaining revival, restoration, and renovation works.
These key heritage initiatives include the conservation of the Darbar Hall, Raja Ram Singh Palace, Raja Amar Singh Palace, and the Dogra Art Museum, all of which are expected to reach completion in the coming months.
