39 Gorkha Training Centre dedicates renovated gymnasium to martyr Major Navneet Vats

VARANASI, June 1 — In a solemn tribute to courage and sacrifice, the 39 Gorkha Training Centre in Varanasi dedicated its renovated gymnasium to the late Major Navneet Vats, who was posthumously awarded the Sena Medal.

The dedication plaque was unveiled by Shivani Navneet Vats, honoring the brave officer of the 4/3 Gorkha Rifles who displayed exceptional gallantry during a counter-terrorist operation in Srinagar on November 20, 2003.

A distinguished soldier, sportsman, and fitness enthusiast, Major Vats continues to inspire generations of future warriors through his indomitable spirit, leadership, and unwavering devotion to duty.
