Gurindervir Singh sets new 100m national record at Federation Cup
RANCHI, May 24: Indian Navy Petty Officer Gurindervir Singh scripted history by setting a new national record in the 100-meter sprint at the ongoing 29th National Federation Cup Athletics Championships in Ranchi.
The champion sprinter clocked a sensational timing of 10.09 seconds to officially become the fastest man in India. With this remarkable performance, Gurindervir Singh has also secured his qualification for both the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games 2026.
The Indian Navy honored the achievement by saluting the outstanding spirit, speed, and dedication of their historic athlete.
