Indian Army hosts rabies awareness lecture for school students in LadakhL

EH, May 24, 2026 :- The Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army organized an educational session on rabies awareness at the Ladakh Model High School in Igoo.

Conducted by the Trishul Vet Healers, the lecture was attended by 50 students and 15 teachers from the institution.

The session sensitized the participating students and staff about rabies, emphasizing that while the zoonotic disease is completely fatal, it remains entirely preventable.

Instructors highlighted the critical importance of public awareness, timely medical treatment, and responsible community practices to prevent the spread of the virus.
