Coast Guard conducts maritime search and rescue workshop at Campbell Bay
CAMPBELL BAY, MAY 23, 2026 :- Coast Guard District Headquarters-10 recently organized a comprehensive Maritime Search and Rescue Workshop and Sea Exercise at Campbell Bay.
The two-day event, held on May 21 and 22, focused on boosting coordination, response capabilities, and overall operational readiness among various regional stakeholders.
Key participants in the drills and sessions included personnel from the Indian Navy, Indian Army, Andaman and Nicobar Police Marine Force, and the Department of Forest.
The collaborative initiative served to reaffirm a collective commitment toward protecting human life at sea.
By bringing together multiple security and environmental agencies, the exercise successfully strengthened maritime safety and enhanced the regional search and rescue preparedness framework.
