RK Anadure takes over as Eastern Air Command Principal Medical Officer

SHILLONG, May 23, 2026 :- Air Vice Marshal RK Anadure, VSM assumed charge as the Principal Medical Officer at the Eastern Air Command of the Indian Air Force on May 22, 2026.

He succeeds Air Vice Marshal Arijit Sen in this role. An alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, Anadure was commissioned into the Indian Army on January 13, 1993.

The officer is a distinguished neurologist with vast administrative and clinical experience, having held several key appointments during a career spanning over three decades.

Prior to taking over his current assignment at the Eastern Air Command, he served as the Deputy Commandant and Senior Instructor at the Officers Training College, AMC Centre and College.
