Air Marshal B Manikantan visits Bareilly Air Force Station inaugurates Medicare Centre and flies Su 30
MKIBAREILLY May 20,2026 — Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, concluded a two-day official visit to the Air Force Station Bareilly spanning May 18 to May 19, 2026.
Upon his arrival at the base, the Air Marshal was received with a ceremonial Guard of Honour. As part of his visit, he undertook an operational flight by flying a sortie in a Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft and officially inaugurated a newly constructed Station Medicare Centre designed to upgrade healthcare facilities at the station.
During his interaction with the station personnel, the Air Marshal commended the team for their professionalism, unwavering commitment, and dedication toward sustaining a high level of operational readiness.
He motivated the personnel to maintain their momentum and continue striving for excellence in all facets of their service to the nation.
