Assam Rifles saves life of unresponsive villager through timely medical evacuation in Nagaland

KIPHIRE, May 20, 2026:- The Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles provided critical medical assistance and emergency evacuation to a forty-three-year-old resident of Betang Village in Nagaland.

Upon receiving urgent information regarding the medical crisis, Assam Rifles personnel swiftly deployed to the village to attend to Makhim, who was found unresponsive and suffering from severe pain.

The medical team immediately stabilized the patient on-site to ensure his condition did not deteriorate further. Following the initial stabilization, Assam Rifles personnel successfully evacuated him to Pungro Town for advanced medical treatment.

The rapid and well-coordinated response by the security forces ensured that the patient received vital healthcare services during the critical golden hour, earning deep appreciation from the local community.
