Indian Army Major General reviews Meerut recruitment zone operations

MEERUT, May 18, 2026:- Major General Manish Kumar, Additional Director General of Headquarters Recruiting Zone for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, visited and reviewed the functional efficacy of the Army Recruiting Office in Meerut.

During the visit, the Director of Recruiting for the Meerut office briefed the Additional Director General on strategies to ensure extensive outreach, enhance registration numbers for the 2027 recruiting year, and maintain the smooth conduct of recruitment procedures.

The Additional Director General appreciated the team’s ongoing efforts toward maintaining transparency and efficiency throughout the recruitment process.

The General Officer also commended the recent infrastructure upgrades undertaken at the facility. He praised the high morale, professionalism, and commitment of the personnel, noting that their dedication serves as an inspiration for all ranks within the recruiting office to continue serving the nation’s youth with utmost dedication.
