Panchshul Brigade conducts joint disaster relief training exercise with state forces in Kumaon
KUMAON May 18,2026 — The Sentinels of the Panchshul Brigade joined forces with the State Disaster Response Force, State Police, and Central Armed Police Forces to conduct a high-intensity Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief conference and joint training exercise in the rugged mountains of Kumaon.
The collaborative initiative was designed to sharpen emergency response drills and maximize efficiency during critical life-saving missions in challenging terrains.The comprehensive joint exercise simulated severe environmental challenges common to the region, including major landslides and sudden flash floods, to test and refine inter-agency coordination under pressure.
Through relentless rehearsals, the military and civil defense personnel established robust synergy focused on accelerating deployment times and enhancing tactical rescue operations.
