Sashastra Seema Bal and Bihar Police seize 630 kg ganja and arrest one smuggler along Indo Nepal border
ARARIA, May 17 — In a major breakthrough against trans-border narcotics smuggling, the Sashastra Seema Bal Araria, in close coordination with the Bihar Police, seized 630 kilograms of ganja during a joint checkpoint operation along the Indo-Nepal border.
The contraband was found cleverly concealed inside 21 bags. Security forces managed to apprehend one smuggler on the spot during the operation.
Following the successful interception, the apprehended individual along with the entire seized contraband was handed over to the Bihar Police for further legal action.
This operation highlights the continuous commitment of the Sashastra Seema Bal to safeguarding the Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bhutan borders.
