Army Medical Corps Centre and College trains 32 officers in tactical combat casualty care at Lucknow
LUCKNOW, May 17 — A five-day Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care course was successfully conducted at the Officers Training College, AMC Centre and College, Lucknow from May 11 to May 16, 2026.
The specialized training program saw the participation of 32 military officers drawn from all Arms and Services of the Indian Army. The primary focus of the course was to train personnel in Tactical Combat Casualty Care techniques, which are crucial for preserving fighting strength and minimizing fatalities during active field operations
.During the concluding phase of the training program, Lieutenant General Shivinder Singh, Commandant of AMC Centre and College, addressed the participating officers.
In his address, he emphasized the critical role that effective combat casualty care plays in saving lives on the battlefield and maintaining overall combat effectiveness.
The intensive program concluded with a strong focus on enhancing the immediate medical response capabilities of frontline officers during operational emergencies.
