Indian Army hosts outreach programme at IIMT University Meerut to inspire youth to join armed forces
MEERUT, May 17 — Army Recruiting Office Meerut, working under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, conducted an inspiring and engaging outreach programme at IIMT University in Meerut.
The interactive session aimed to motivate students by highlighting the adventurous, challenging, and rewarding life offered within the Indian Army. During the event, various career opportunities, including Officer Entry Schemes and the Agnipath Scheme, were explained in detail alongside comprehensive briefings on eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, recruitment procedures, and different entry categories into the Armed Forces.
The gathering was also addressed by Major General Manish Kumar, ZRO HQ Recruiting Zone, Lucknow, who inspired the graduate students of IIMT University to take the first step toward donning the olive green uniform. He encouraged the attendees to embrace a life of discipline, honour, courage, and selfless service to the nation.
The enthusiastic participation and overwhelming response from the students reflected a strong patriotic spirit and a growing aspiration among the local youth to serve the nation with pride.
