Indian Army Fire and Fury Corps organizes pre International Yoga Day session in Ladakh

LEH, May 17, 2026 :- The Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army organized a specialized yoga session on the banks of the Indus River in a high-altitude area of Ladakh as a run-up activity toward International Yoga Day 2026.

Guided by the spirit of Yoga for One Earth, One Health and the philosophical principle of yoga is excellence in action, the event saw active participation from deployed troops.

Set against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas, the military personnel embraced the timeless practice to enhance their operational readiness and holistic health under challenging environmental conditions.

The high-altitude health initiative focused heavily on promoting physical well-being, mental clarity, and emotional resilience among soldiers stationed in the frontier region.
